The Key Account Leader / Sales Leader will be responsible for leading a team focused on key customer accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, managing high-value customer relationships, and optimizing sales operations in the furniture industry. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth industry knowledge, and a track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
1. Sales & Business Development
- Lead and guide the Key Account Sales team to meet business targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for furniture categories (indoor & outdoor furniture, decorative home accessories, etc.).
- Manage and monitor customer orders, ensuring alignment with expectations and timelines.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth areas.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, with a focus on key accounts.
2. Account & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with internal departments to oversee production, logistics, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor order fulfillment and ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with suppliers and factories to assess and align production capacity.
3. Pricing & Quotation
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
- Work closely with costing and technical teams to prepare accurate quotations for customers.
4. Market & Industry Insights
- Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives and improvements to product positioning.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sourcing, merchandising, technical, finance, and logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.
