Job Description

The Key Account Leader / Sales Leader will be responsible for leading a team focused on key customer accounts, developing and executing sales strategies, managing high-value customer relationships, and optimizing sales operations in the furniture industry. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth industry knowledge, and a track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Lead and guide the Key Account Sales team to meet business targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for furniture categories (indoor & outdoor furniture, decorative home accessories, etc.).
  • Manage and monitor customer orders, ensuring alignment with expectations and timelines.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth areas.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, with a focus on key accounts.

2. Account & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with internal departments to oversee production, logistics, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and factories to assess and align production capacity.

3. Pricing & Quotation

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
  • Work closely with costing and technical teams to prepare accurate quotations for customers.

4. Market & Industry Insights

  • Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities.
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives and improvements to product positioning.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sourcing, merchandising, technical, finance, and logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English (required).
  • 3–5 years of experience in furniture sales, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or key account role.
  • Strong understanding of global furniture trading, negotiation tactics, and supply chain coordination.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategies and manage key customer portfolios.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
