Garment Technical Designer

- Responsible for overall fit related process.

- Strong knowledge of fit, pattern and garment constructions.

- Fluent English skills, speaking, listening and writing.

- Communication with buyer directly.

- Responsible for attending Buyer Certification program and complete the process to be a Certified TD as Brand representative.

- Understanding and capability to check grading, balance and call out points.

- Skillful to correct pattern and garment to meet buyer’s desire.

- Good team work with sales team, pattern maker, Cad team, factory and sample room.

- Reviewing 3D image and work with 3D team for 3D fitting.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field

- At least 3 years of working experience as a Technical Designer.

- Strong negotiating and communication skills with buyer.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

- Ability to use Optitex for pattern correction and screen shot.

- Knowledge of grading balance.

- Knowledge 3D program such as Clo and V-Stitcher.

- Possess strong problem-solving capabilities and is results oriented.

- Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential manufacturing risks

- Ability to review fitting balance and how to correct to achieve buyer’s desire.

- Proficient in Word, Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint, Outlook

Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Lunch Break: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
