Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and resilient General Accountant to lead the accounting team (3 members) and manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable function together with the company's tax compliance for our manufacturing operations, while owning the Group's monthly reporting package and providing key financial support to Management. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of hands-on general accounting, AP, and tax experience — preferably within a manufacturing company — is comfortable working with high transaction volumes under tight deadlines, and can proactively identify opportunities for cost control across vendor payments and spend.

•     Lead and supervise the accounting team, assigning workload, reviewing output, and building team capability to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all accounting functions.

•     Own and prepare the Group's monthly reporting package, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time submission in line with Group deadlines and standards.

•     Support Management with financial analysis, ad-hoc reports, and insights to aid decision-making and business planning.

•     Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable process: invoice verification, 3-way matching (PO – GR – Invoice), coding, and timely payment processing.

•     Monitor and control AP-related costs and spend; flag budget variances and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities to management.

•     Own the AP month-end and year-end closing timeline, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion under strict group/company deadlines.

•     Prepare AP aging reports, cash outflow forecasts, and payment schedules to support cash flow planning.

•     Ensure invoices and payments comply with company policy, VAT regulations, and relevant tax requirements.

•     Take ownership of the company's tax function: prepare and file monthly VAT, CIT provisional, and FCT (Foreign Contractor Tax) declarations.

•     Prepare annual CIT finalization and other statutory tax reports; ensure accurate and timely submission in compliance with Vietnamese tax law.

•     Reconcile input/output VAT and tax accounts monthly; monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company.

•     Act as the primary contact for tax authority audits and inquiries; prepare supporting documentation and explanations as required.

•     Support internal/external audit requests as required.

Job Requirement

•     7–10 years of experience in General Accounting / Accounts Payable, including experience leading or supervising an accounting team; experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.

•     Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•     Proficient in accounting software; hands-on experience with ACCPAC is required.

•     Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure and tight deadlines.

•     Demonstrated ability to monitor, analyze, and control costs/spend.

•     Solid understanding of Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, FCT) with hands-on tax filing experience.

•     Good command of English (verbal and written) for cross-functional and regional reporting.

•     Experience preparing monthly reporting packages for a Group/parent company and supporting Management with financial analysis.

•     Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table); familiarity with D365 systems is an advantage.

•     Strong ownership, organizational skills, and ability to manage high volumes of transactions independently.
