Job Description

Position Overview

Jordan Manufacturing is a U.S.-based organization focused on strengthening and diversifying the global supply chain to better serve our customers and partners. With an expanding presence across multiple regions, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Sourcing Coordinator to join our international Supply Chain team. Our goal is to build a robust supplier network and promote innovation in textile and related material sourcing. The Global Sourcing Coordinator will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and developing new supplier relationships around the world. This position supports the company’s global sourcing strategy by ensuring cost-effective procurement, consistent quality, and reliable delivery while aligning with company standards and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Development & Management

  • Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers globally, with emphasis on textile and material manufacturing regions.
  • Conduct factory audits, capability assessments, and performance reviews.
  • Foster strong, long-term vendor relationships built on transparency, trust, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation

  • Support sourcing initiatives for fabrics, trims, non-woven, foam and other textile-related materials.
  • Support sourcing initiatives for brand packaging, corrugate, & other packaging materials
  • Support sourcing initiatives for new product development (NPD) and innovation.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure optimal cost, quality, and service performance.
  • Collaborate with Cost Accounting team members to ensure costs are correctly reflected with the ERP system. Communicate variances to leadership.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based sourcing and procurement teams to align global sourcing strategy with corporate goals.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to regional procurement team members.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key suppliers and cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
  • Lead cross-departmental initiatives to improve supplier performance, sourcing efficiency, and material innovation.
  • Represent the sourcing function in global business reviews, supplier meetings, and strategic planning sessions.

Quality & Compliance Oversight

  • Work closely with quality assurance & compliance teams to ensure supplier compliance with ethical, environmental, and technical standards.
  • Monitor production timelines, product testing, and quality control processes to proactively mitigate risk.

Market Research & Analysis

  • Track market trends, cost drivers, and textile industry shifts across key sourcing regions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform material and supplier strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with U.S.-based operations, logistics, and product development teams to ensure smooth communication and execution across time zones.
  • Support supply chain transition and localization projects to strengthen regional and global resilience.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, International Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience (textiles or soft goods preferred).
  • Strong understanding of global manufacturing markets and export processes.
  • Experience with textile mills, material suppliers, or fabric sourcing is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Fluency in English required, additional languages a plus.
  • Experience working with U.S. or multinational companies preferred.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.C
