Support Business Units in implementing HSE activities across laboratories, field operations, and other workplaces; participate in internal inspections and cross-functional audits among business units and locations.
Collaborate with the HSE Manager to develop and implement HSE monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements and addressing safety issues arising in laboratories and field operations.
Organize and deliver HSE training programs for laboratory managers, field managers, and middle management personnel.
Develop Safety Talk materials tailored to specific job functions and collaborate with Operations teams to establish training matrices, ensuring risks are identified and controlled in a timely manner.
Identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and work closely with technical teams to integrate safety requirements into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); monitor implementation progress and provide periodic reports.
Assist in the development of emergency response plans and coordinate regular drills for occupational safety incidents, fire prevention and firefighting, first aid, and chemical spill response scenarios.
Develop and maintain databases related to best practices, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions; analyze incidents and near-misses, and share lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
Analyze HSE and industrial hygiene data, monitor performance trends, and prepare periodic reports for local, regional, and global management as required.
Participate in incident investigations in laboratories and field operations; conduct root cause analysis and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term effectiveness.
Job Requirement
Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or Fire Safety discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in HSE/EHS or related roles.
Experience in HSE compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, audits, emergency preparedness, and corrective/preventive action management.
Good understanding of HSE regulations and industry standards.
Strong analytical, reporting, communication, presentation, and training skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety data analysis.
