Job Description

Responsible for overseeing all finance and accounting activities of the companies within the Freight Management group (NC FM), ensuring transparency, regulatory compliance, financial effectiveness, and providing strategic financial support to Management in driving sustainable growth and development.

  • Ensure compliance with tax, accounting and relevant legal regulations, minimizing compliance risks and penalties.
  • Ensure the accuracy (true and fair) and timeliness of statutory financial statements and internal management reports.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking process against approved plans.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital, ensuring financial stability, solvency and compliance with relevant financial covenants.
  • Provide financial analysis and advisory to support Management in operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in the financial evaluation of investment, expansion, M&A and restructuring initiatives; lead or support post-M&A financial integration, including accounting policy harmonization, financial consolidation, financial controls and post-deal performance tracking against the original business case.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related fields.
  • Professional qualifications preferred, such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; experience with Bravo systems is a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in finance/ accounting, prefer 5 years in a senior management role in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience managing large teams (20+ staff) across multiple locations, including hands-on experience in Southeast Asian markets such as Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia.
