Job purpose:
The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s online distribution and digital sales strategies. This role will manage all online travel agency (OTA) channels, brand website, and digital campaigns to maximize online revenue, visibility, and conversion. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hotel e-commerce, digital marketing, and revenue optimization.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize all OTA platforms (Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Trip.com, etc.) to ensure rate parity, accurate content, and high visibility.
- Maintain and update hotel information, images, promotions, and availability across all online channels.
- Monitor and analyze daily pickup, booking patterns, and conversion performance by channel.
- Work closely with the Revenue and Sales team to implement effective pricing and distribution strategies.
- Oversee hotel website content, ensuring brand alignment and SEO optimization.
- Collaborate with marketing agencies or internal team to improve traffic, engagement, and conversion on the hotel website.
- Manage direct booking tools (booking engine, metasearch, Google Hotel Ads).
- Analyze user experience and implement improvements to increase direct sales performance.
- Generate weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports (traffic, conversion, ADR, revenue share by channel).
- Analyze competitive set online visibility, pricing, and promotions.
- Identify growth opportunities and propose data-driven actions to enhance revenue.
- Work closely with Revenue, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent commercial strategy.
- Support the pre-opening and integration of new hotels into the online ecosystem.
- Liaise with OTA market managers and digital partners for joint campaigns or tactical offers.
