1. Job PurposeResponsible for leading and implementing all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities at the factory to ensure full compliance with legal requirements, customer standards, and internal policies, while promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Health & Safety ManagementLead and implement occupational health & safety programs in accordance with local laws and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety inspections across all departments.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses; prepare reports and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
Monitor compliance with PPE, machine safety, chemical safety, and safe working procedures.
Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, evacuation drills, and first-aid arrangements.
Manage environmental compliance related to waste, wastewater, air emissions, chemicals, and hazardous materials.
Monitor environmental indicators and ensure proper records and reporting to authorities.
Coordinate waste segregation, hazardous waste handling, and disposal through licensed contractors.
Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese HSE laws and regulations.
Prepare and maintain HSE legal documents, permits, licenses, and reports.
Act as site focal point for external audits and inspections (customers, authorities, third-party audits such as SMETA, ISO 45001/14001).
Follow up audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
Organize HSE training for employees, contractors, and visitors (safety induction, chemical safety, fire safety, etc.).
Promote HSE awareness through campaigns, posters, toolbox talks, and internal communication.
Coach and support line managers and supervisors on HSE responsibilities.
Lead, coach, and develop HSE team members.
Prepare regular HSE reports (KPIs, incidents, inspections, training, compliance status).
Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments on HSE matters.
Stop unsafe work or activities that pose serious safety or environmental risks.
Request corrective actions from departments regarding HSE non-compliance.
Propose improvements, investments, or corrective measures related to HSE.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing / factory environment.
At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred.
Good knowledge of Vietnamese HSE laws and regulations.
Practical experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMETA or similar audit standards.
Strong skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and CAPA management.
Good communication, training, and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
English: Basic to intermediate (reading reports, audit communication).
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
