TBC-BALL Vietnam Co., Ltd., a producer of aluminum cans for the beverage industry, is a joint venture between Thai Beverage Can (Thailand) and Ball Corporation (USA). JOB DESCRIPTION

A. RISK MANAGEMENT & HIGH-RISK WORK (45%)

HIRA/JSA: Implement and maintain hazard identification and risk assessment programs for normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions, applying the hierarchy of control.

PTW Management: Manage, audit, and approve the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities (including but not limited to: Working at Height, Confined Space, Hot Work, LOTOTO, Chemical handling).

Standards Integration: Incorporate corporate safety standards, hazard mapping, and Life-Saving Rules (LiFE Rules) into local risk procedures.

Site Inspections: Conduct daily, random, and periodic inspections of high-risk areas and contractor activities to ensure PPE and safety compliance.

B. INCIDENT INVESTIGATION, EMERGENCY RESPONSE & COMPLIANCE (35%)

Incident Investigation: Lead reporting, recording, and investigation of HSE incidents/near-misses; analyze root causes and track CAPA completion.

Emergency & Fire Safety: Coordinate emergency resources as an active ERT member. Oversee periodic fire system testing and organize internal/joint drills with Fire Police.

Chemical Management: Develop, implement procedures, and supervise the safe storage, handling, and usage of chemicals at the plant.

HSE Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, stakeholder audits (FSPP, ISO 14001, 45001), and work with government inspectors under HSE Manager guidance.

C. SAFETY CULTURE, BBS & TRAINING (20%)

HSE Training: Develop and conduct practical training on risk awareness, high-risk work procedures, and emergency response for staff and contractors.

BBS & Reporting: Implement Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) and proactive reporting to promote a safe working environment.

D. OTHER TASKS

Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by the HSE Manager.

Job Requirement

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

  •  BA in HSE Management, Environment Engineering science or technical fields.
  • Possess an Occupational Safety certificate
  • At least 5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing.
  • Reporting and training capabilities.
  • Ability to internal & external negotiate and solve problems.
  • Fluent in English communication.

TECHNOLOGY & DIGITALIZATION/ CÔNG NGHỆ & SỐ HÓA

Proven capability to utilize digital tools, software platforms, and AI applications to digitalize, streamline, and optimize HSE management systems (e.g., EHS management software, digital inspection tools, data analytics dashboards)

  • Working time: Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 17:00pm/ Friday: 8:00am – 16:00pm
  • Transportation Allowance: VND 400,000/month or company shuttle service.
  • Monthly Productivity Bonus: Based on the factory's overall KPI achievement ratio.
