Job Description

The Import/Export Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the import/export operations of pharmaceutical products. This role involves tracking and controlling product files, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining customer relationships, and optimizing costs. The executive will also handle import/export procedures, document preparation, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Product File Management:

· Monitor and control product-related work and files.

· Verify the accuracy and effectiveness of activities and files related to bidding, import/export operations.

Customer Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify potential new customers.

Risk Management and Cost Optimization:

· Manage risks associated with import/export operations.

· Optimize costs to ensure efficient operations.

Import/Export Procedures:

· Execute import/export procedures for pharmaceutical products.

· Prepare and verify import/export documents.

Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipment status and update relevant information.

Collaboration with Internal Departments:

· Work with relevant departments to complete product registration and importation processes.

· Assist with ordering and tracking product imports.

Financial Coordination: Collaborate with the accounting department to finalize payment procedures.

Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as required.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proficient in English for professional communication.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with commercial law and trade promotion regulations.
  • Understanding of the business environment and the role of relationships in business.
  • Experience in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or trade sectors.
  • Strong skills in planning, organizing work, data analysis, teamwork, and situation handling.
