Job Description

Purpose:

To manage and execute import and export operations independently, ensuring all shipments comply with national and international trade laws, and are handled efficiently and cost-effectively. To serve as the operational focal point for assigned trade lanes or product categories, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to corporate logistics standards,

Key Responsibilities:

1. To manage end-to-end shipment activities (import/export).

2. To maintain efficient coordination with service providers and internal departments.

3. To support continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.

4. Ensures that all import/export operations and customs process comply with international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements.

5. Applying Process of HS Code, Origin & Preference, License & Certificiate management and other trade compliance process to ensure all trade related master data are accurate.

6. Utilize Technology System to support on automation of trade compliance process management.

7. Supports audits and compliance assessments by preparing necessary reports and documentation.

8. Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking - Internal.

9. Performance Monitoring & KPI Tracking - Customs Brokers and Fowarders.

10. Process Improvement Execution – Identifies inefficiencies and implements minor process optimizations.

11. Track Performance improvement by Brokers & Forwarders.

Job Requirement

• Education: Bachelor’s degree of any discipline preferred International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related discipline.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in import/export operations with supervisory duties.

• Expert knowledge of trade laws, customs regulations, and documentation standards.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• High proficiency in ERP systems and trade compliance software.

• Strategic planning and cost optimization mindset.
