Problem Solving:
Identify and analyze root causes of line issues using the 5 Whys + 1H method to implement permanent corrective actions.
Process & Technology Improvement:
Propose creative ideas (Kaizen) to optimize production line flow and operational efficiency.
Research and apply new technologies and automation to enhance product quality and reduce manual handling.
Equipment Capacity Optimization:
Optimize machine cycle time and equipment efficiency to boost UPH (Units Per Hour) and minimize unplanned downtime.
Reporting & Project Management:
Provide daily and weekly detailed reports on project progress and issue status.
Summarize monthly project performance (evaluating success ratios, cost savings, and UPH growth).
Execute other tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE), Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field.
1–3 years of experience as a Process, IE, or Production Improvement Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills & Methodologies:
Proficient in root cause analysis tools (specifically 5 Whys + 1H, Fishbone diagram).
Good understanding of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and Line Balancing.
Practical knowledge of UPH/Cycle Time optimization, OEE improvement, and waste reduction.
Familiarity with basic automation, jig design, or sensor applications is a plus.
Soft Skills & Capabilities:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Good reporting skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, or data visualization tools).
Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
