  • Develop and maintain process flow, standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Conduct line balancing based on takt time, cycle time, manpower, and production demand.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production flow and throughput.
  • Optimize workstation layout, material flow, and operator movement.

2. Time Study & Capacity Planning

  • Conduct time studies, motion studies, and cycle-time analysis.
  • Establish standard time and labor requirements for production processes.
  • Calculate line capacity, manpower requirements, UPH, takt time, and productivity.
  • Support Planning and Production teams in capacity analysis for new and existing programs.
  • Recommend manpower allocation according to production volume and demand.

3. Productivity & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive productivity improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, VSM, and other CI methodologies.
  • Identify and eliminate waste such as waiting time, excessive motion, transportation, over-processing, and unnecessary inventory.
  • Analyze production performance and implement corrective actions to improve OEE, UPH, labor efficiency, and line utilization.
  • Support cost-reduction and labor-saving initiatives.

4. New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Participate in NPI projects from prototype/EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production.
  • Review product and process requirements from an IE/manufacturing perspective.
  • Support production line setup, workstation design, tooling requirements, and manpower planning.
  • Develop initial cycle-time, capacity, and labor assumptions for new products.
  • Work with Engineering and Production to ensure smooth transition from NPI to mass production.

5. Layout & Manufacturing Engineering Support

  • Design and optimize production line layouts and workstation arrangements.
  • Evaluate equipment, tools, fixtures, and automation opportunities.
