Intellectual Property (IP) Assistant Manager/Group Leader

1. Job detail:

- Facilitate meeting with engineers to create invention by identifying technical issue and solution for it.

- Research/Monitor prior arts and mitigate IP risks

- Liaison engineers and outside IP law firm and/or IP members in Japan.

- Other tasks according to manager’s requirements.

. Requirements

- Fundamental qualifications

• Logical thinking, Analytical thinking, research skills

• Written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Fundamental knowledge of engineering, materials, electronics and/or law/IP.

- Preferred qualifications

• Past experience at technology company(s) as an in-house IP member or as an engineer

• IP attorney at patent/law firm.

• Knowledge of patent laws or IP/legal system at university in Japan / US, EP come back to Viet Nam

• Business sense bridging IP value and actual business competence.

- Other

• Good soft skills for working at diversified workplace is preferred.

• Proactive mindset even for new challenging items is preferred.

- Travel Requirement

• Business trip to Japan, Thailand and Laos is required based on status/conditions of the assigned task.
