The QA Staff is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements, ensuring ongoing compliance, certification readiness, and operational excellence. The role manages all ISO certification and audit-related activities, oversees Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance within the department, coordinates equipment calibration, drives supplier printing quality improvement initiatives, and leads continuous improvement projects to enhance business performance and efficiency.
1. Quality Management System (QMS) Management
- Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
- Standardize existing QMS documentation and ensure alignment with ISO standards.
- Develop new procedures, work instructions, forms, and related documents for new processes and update existing documents when changes occur.
- Establish and coordinate Management Review activities.
- Control and maintain internal ISO documentation and records.
- Monitor QMS implementation effectiveness and ensure compliance across departments.
- Regularly report QMS performance and project progress to the Head of the ISO Board.
2. ISO Certification and Audit Management
- Lead activities required to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal quality audits to verify QMS effectiveness.
- Organize and coordinate third-party certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Liaise with certification bodies, consultants, trainers, and assessment organizations regarding ISO 9001 requirements.
- Follow up on audit findings, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of non-conformities (NCs).
- Handle issues arising from internal and external audits.
- Coordinate communication and awareness of ISO-related requirements across departments.
3. Continuous Improvement and ISO Sustainability
- Promote awareness, competence, and understanding of ISO 9001 requirements through training and communication programs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QMS effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead digitalization and paper-reduction initiatives to simplify and optimize quality processes.
- Coordinate ISO recertification activities and ensure ongoing compliance with certification requirements.
- Monitor improvement actions and ensure sustainable implementation.
4. Improvement Project Management
- Lead and coordinate departmental and site-wide improvement projects.
- Consolidate project information and monitor project progress.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations for management review.
- Drive optimization and continuous improvement initiatives across quality-related processes.
- Monitor project effectiveness through KPI tracking and performance measurement.
- Sustain improvement outcomes through regular follow-up and performance reviews.
