Job Summary
The IT Application Admin II will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of various business applications and IT Infrastructure services within Jabil Vietnam. This role involves application operations, vendor management, IT compliance & security, and audit support. You will also assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation, leveraging SQL and Power BI for reporting and insights. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Application Operations & Infrastructure Support: Maintain and support enterprise applications and their integration across server and network infrastructure, ensuring performance, uptime, and SLA adherence.
- Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot application, database, and network-related issues; perform root-cause analysis; implement preventive measures and documentation. Coordinate deployments, patches, and configuration changes following change-control processes.
- Vendor Management: Manage end-to-end vendor interactions—RFP/RFQ, technical evaluations, contract terms, PO creation, invoice validation, and payment tracking—ensuring cost, quality, and compliance. Define and maintain the IT catalogue (software, licenses, hardware, services); enforce standards, lifecycle management, and alignment with budget approvals.
- IT Compliance & Security: Implement and monitor controls for IT compliance (e.g., ISO, Factory standards), support IT security policies, handle Internal/external audit evidence, and remediate findings.
- Financial & Cost Management: Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation for IT/application services; reconcile actuals versus plan; provide variance analysis and optimization recommendations.
- Data & Reporting Enablement: Build and maintain reports using SQL databases and Power BI (usage, cost, SLA, compliance dashboards); automate data pipelines and ensure data accuracy. Identify opportunities for application optimization and automation to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Communication & Governance: Deliver clear presentations, status updates contribute to governance and process standardization. Provide training and guidance to IT and business stakeholders on application functionalities and best practices.
- Capacity management, routine system health checks, performance monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure application stability and availability.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT infrastructure and application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Lead IT projects related to IT infrastructure and application implementation, integration.
