Job Description

1. Job Purpose

  • The IT Operations Intern assists the IT Operations team in maintaining and supporting the company’s technology environment. This role provides hands-on experience in hardware and software management, troubleshooting, and user support, helping ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup and configuration of computers, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Support end-users with IT-related inquiries via email, chat, or in person.
  • Help maintain inventory of IT assets and update documentation regularly.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance and system health checks.
  • Follow IT procedures and ensure compliance with company security policies.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to support ongoing infrastructure projects.

Job Requirement

1.      Requirements

a.     Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

b.    Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and network fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting PCs, printers, and common software applications.
  • Responsible, eager to learn, and able to follow guidance.

2.     Supervision and Access Control

  • The intern will operate under close supervision from the IT Operations team.
  • Access to systems and data will be limited according to company policies.
  • All tasks will be reviewed and approved by assigned IT mentors.
