Japanese-Speaking Assistant

Support the JICA expert in administrative tasks, coordination, document preparation, and monitoring related to Trademark within project activities.

Assist in the planning and management of meetings, seminars, workshops, training sessions, and other project activities related to Trademark.

Translate correspondence, reports, and other documents between Vietnamese and Japanese as required by the project.

Provide interpretation between Vietnamese and Japanese (consecutive and simultaneous interpretation as needed) during meetings with partners and stakeholders.

Assist in the preparation, review, organization, and storage of Trademark-related documents during the project.

Perform other tasks related to project management.

Qualifications and requirements:

[Essential / Minimum Qualifications]:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Vietnamese and Japanese, with professional-level speaking and writing skills (equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher).
• Experience in Japan: At least one year of experience working or studying in Japan within the last five years.
• IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Operational Skills: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work autonomously with a proactive mindset.
• Reliability: Strong commitment to accuracy and the ability to consistently meet project deadlines.

[Desirable / Preferred Qualifications]:

• Technical Knowledge: Prior experience or foundational knowledge in the legal field, particularly regarding Intellectual Property (IP) rights.
• Professionalism: Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with experience working in international or multicultural professional environments.
• Adaptability: Ability to facilitate smooth project execution through effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated salary: 27,000,000VND～30,000,000VND (Gross) per month. (It’s negotiable if your proficiency is eligible for)

Contract Type: Fixed-term Contract

Work Location: JICA Project Office within IPVN (Hanoi, Vietnam)

Contract Period:

Initial Term: From early June 2026 (or the date of contract signing) to March 31, 2027.

Probation: The first one (1) month of employment will be a probationary period.

Renewal: The contract is subject to renewal from April 1, 2027, through March 31, 2028, based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
