Execute design-related tasks as assigned by the Department Head.
Conduct site surveys, condition assessments, and prepare design briefs and proposals as required.
Develop and manage overall and detailed design schedules across all stages: concept, schematic, design development, and construction documentation.
Define milestones, track progress, and monitor design progress.
Coordinate with design consultants to propose suitable materials and finishes for both interior and exterior works.
Collaborate with structural, MEP, fire safety, infrastructure, interior, and landscape teams to ensure design consistency and integration.
Ensure design documents comply with legal standards and support permit applications.
Work closely with internal departments (Engineering, Sales, Legal, CCP) to align project requirements.
Partner with the construction management team to validate design feasibility and implementation on site.
Supervise construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and resolve issues to maintain quality and schedule.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
AUTHORITY
Participate in conferences and forums related to architecture and construction design; contribute insights to departmental policies and regulations.
Recommend solutions to carry out assigned tasks and be responsible to the Department Head for assigned work.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Collaborate with other relevant departments.
External: Coordinate with architectural design consultants to ensure quality, progress, and effective responses to RFIs.
Direct Reporting: Head of Design Department.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Structural, MEP, Landscape, and Interior Design teams, as well as external consultants, to ensure effective integration and project success.
Job Requirement
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
Proficiency in English is an advantage.
Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in a similar role.
Direct involvement or leadership in 2–3 medium to large-scale projects (e.g., residential apartments, low-rise buildings, villas, etc.).
Strong experience collaborating with both local and international design consultants, and coordinating with disciplines (Structure, MEP, fire protection, interior design, etc.).
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Skilled in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Capable of developing process schedules for the department.
Experienced in reviewing and verifying technical drawings.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Knowledge of legal requirements related to architecture and construction (required).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong project planning and execution monitoring skills.
