Responsible for maintaining smooth operation of the team, expanding lab capability to meet clients requirement, and improving lab productivity/ save operation cost.
Lead Technician team to prepare samples and/or perform tests and other assigned tasks
Review results of normal/routine tests without abnormal observation before sending them to supervisor for final review or sending them directly to CS team when they are quantified and assigned.
Study and review test methods, SOP, client’s manuals and prepare the proper resources to ensure that jobs are conducted in compliance with required methods/ SOP/ manuals
Implement new test methods for Technician team, as assigned by Supervisor, in order to meet clients’ requirement.
Perform root cause analysis on complaints/ claims and provide results for Supervisor to have proper corrective actions.
Ensure day-to-day compliance in HSE & Quality management system (SOP, forms, guidelines, equipment calibration, ISO17025, etc.) and escalate potential operation risk.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Lab Supervisor.
Job Requirement
University graduate in: Chemistry (Chrom Lab/Wet Chemistry Lab) and Microbiology/Biotechnology (Microbiology lab)
At least 2 years of experience in same field at SGS Food laboratory, or
At least 3 years of experience outside SGS of the same field.
