Lab Technician (Product Testing - Chemical Laboratory, Non-food)

This role will also act as the Member of Lab Team Representative in TUV SUD Vietnam office. You will support the Lab Manager in managing the day-to-day including Testing, test report and training new employee in Lab Team.

• Perform chemical analysis and evaluations to ensure compliance to international standards within the turnaround time
• Prepare and set-up analytical instruments as assigned
• Conduct on-site sampling or testing following requirements
• Conduct maintenance and calibration of instruments
• Interpret test results, prepare test reports, along with completing other related administrative work
• Maintain and update laboratory records and documentation
• Be responsible for all technical and quality aspects of testing activities in the Lab as authorized or assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor
• Report daily testing activities to Reporting Officer and Lab Managers
• Carry out any additional tasks as assigned by the line manager

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or its equivalent  
• Chemical testing for textile, footwear and ZDHC
• At least 1 year of experience in operating < HPLC-MS/HPLC-MSMS> and knowledge of ISO17025 Quality Management System are advantageous
• English Communication with B level or its equivalent
• Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
• A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
