Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all Legal & Compliance functions to ensure the Company's operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Company's legal compliance framework, governance policies, and internal control systems.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, assess legal impacts, and provide practical legal guidance to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of commercial contracts, legal documents, and corporate transactions while minimizing legal and business risks.
  • Identify, assess, and manage legal and compliance risks; recommend effective mitigation strategies and ensure timely reporting of significant risks to Management.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and business-oriented solutions to the Executive Board and cross-functional stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Legal & Compliance team to support the Company's long-term growth.
  • Support the Chairman and Executive Board in preparing legal documents, corporate governance matters, reports, and materials for key management meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Board.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Law.
  • Minimum 7 years of legal experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Proven experience as an in-house legal counsel, preferably in multinational or corporate environments.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, compliance, and legal risk management.
  • Hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs and internal governance frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, business partnering, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other highly regulated manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
