Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 Operational Support:

  • Monitor and track shipment statuses daily to ensure on-time delivery and proactively address delays.
  • Coordinate with vendors, warehouses, and transportation providers to resolve scheduling conflicts or logistical challenges when assigned.
  • Prepare accurate and complete transportation documents, including delivery notes, claim requests, change requests…

Data Management:

  • Regularly update logistics databases with shipment details, and delivery schedules, ensuring real-time accuracy.
  • Tracking and monitoring performance of logistics vendor to improve operational activities and decision making.
  • Ensure timely execution and validation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions to prevent data discrepancies.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports on key logistics metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, distribution costs, and inventory discrepancies, to support decision-making.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze logistics workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, or delays and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Contribute to specific projects focused on cost-saving initiatives, such as route optimization or supplier negotiation, and support efforts to reduce lead times.

Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal team and store operations teams to ensure seamless distribution and replenishment processes.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders ( external and internal) to resolve shipment issues, missing documentation, or delivery discrepancies.

Compliance:

  • Supporting in verification that all logistics activities align with company policies, industry standards, and local/international regulations.

Assist in preparing detailed documentation for customs clearance, ensuring compliance with import/export requirements.

Job Requirement

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IELTS 6.5/ CEFR B2/ VSTEP B2 or equivalent certification
