The Maintenance Excellence Engineer is responsible for building and advancing the organization's Maintenance Excellence capabilities by transforming maintenance operations from a predominantly experience-based and reactive approach into a data-driven, reliability-focused, technology-enabled, and continuously improving function.
This position serves as a key driver of Maintenance Excellence and Transformation, with a primary focus on:
The Maintenance Excellence Engineer is not intended to replace the day-to-day operational and maintenance responsibilities of the Technical Operations or Asset & Maintenance Management teams. Instead, this role is responsible for designing, developing, piloting, improving, and standardizing new maintenance capabilities. Once validated and matured, these solutions will be transferred to the Asset & Maintenance Management team for long-term operation and sustainability.
This position plays a critical role in the company's strategy to elevate maintenance practices from a traditional Preventive Maintenance (PM) model to an Asset Performance & Reliability (APR) framework, aiming to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and enhance factory automation capability.
