1.Expert knowledge of knit garment construction, stretch behavior, and fabric properties.
2.Develop base patterns, grading, and production markers aligned with size charts and technical specs.
3.Calculate fabric consumption, marker efficiency, and yield considering stretch, recovery, and relaxation.
4.Adjust patterns for shrinkage, wash effects, torque, and garment drape.
5.Manage seam allowances, rib ratios, stitch density, and tolerance suitable for knit production.
6.Verify and control graphic, print, embroidery, and applique placement aligned with pattern pieces.
7.Conduct fit evaluation, size set approval, and pattern correction for bulk production.
8.Support sampling, pre-production, and bulk production to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
9.Collaborate with design, merchandising, and technical teams to optimize pattern feasibility and productioncost.
10.Lead problem-solving for complex fit, construction, or production issues in knit garments.
11.Review, mentor, and approve patterns created by junior and mid-level pattern makers.
12.Implement advanced grading techniques for complex knit fabrics including stretch and recoverycompensation13.Perform other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time, based on theneeds of the department.
