Job Description

  • Build the brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short as well as long term.
  • Plan strategies, evaluate, align and integrate factors for effective branding of the product; optimize pricing based on market price dynamics; facilitate adaptation of product packaging to local settings; manage product life cycle in view of initiatives for new indications, extensions, modifications and other life cycle strategies and new product launches as well as develop new business opportunities.
  • Ensure that product marketing strategies and tactical programmes are developed and implemented to improve market performance.
  • Create and manage promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding.
  • Manage brand budget and actual spending for advertising, visibility and promotional items.
  • Conduct analysis of competitor and customer insights.
  • Conduct analysis of sales forecasts and relevant financials (brand marketing spending and key results).
  • Organize product training, sales arguments and tools, manage and update relevant communication platforms to support Sales and Customers using efficiency.
  • Liaise with Key Prescribes / Key Hospitals for better market understanding.
  • Establish contacts, form affiliations, make proper representation of the company and participate in meetings, conventions and network-building opportunities (e.g. medical societies).

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Medicine (or medical physician or pharmacist or pre-medicine related disciplines).
  • Additional degrees or certifications in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing are considered an advantage.
  • At least 10 years of sales/marketing in pharmaceutical, medical devices, diagnostics, or related healthcare companies. Experience in the OB/GYN field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Marketing Management position.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Product Management experience in a technical environment, with a strong preference for experience in the OB-GYN field.
  • Knowledge of marketing and experience in setting brand guidelines for healthcare products.
  • Brand awareness - a clear understanding of brands and the marketing mix.
  • Strong ability to work independently, proactively handle tasks, perform well under high pressure, and demonstrate creativity as well as strong organizational and management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and sensitivity to corporate investment opportunities.
  • High level of professional ethics, personal credibility, and a strong sense of responsibility at work.
  • Good social awareness and extensive networks with healthcare authorities, medical organizations, institutions, and healthcare professionals.
  • Good English communication skills are an advantage.
