Job Description

The Master Data Executive will support the Head of Data in implementing and operating the master data in ERP, POS and other systems. This role will ensure data quality, consistency, compliance, and responsible usage across business units. The executive will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to maintain and controls that align with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

  • System Maintenance: Execute the creation, modification, and extension of master data records within the ERP, POS and other systems.
  • Data Validation: Review and verify all incoming master data requests (Materials, Vendors, Customers, etc.) for accuracy and compliance with global standards.
  • Standardization: Ensure consistent naming conventions and categorization to prevent duplicate entries and maintain data "cleanliness."
  • Workflow Coordination: Manage the end-to-back workflow of data requests, ensuring all necessary approvals from BU, departments are obtained before entry.
  • Mass Data Uploads: Lead mass maintenance activities (using data upload tools) for price updates, tax code changes, or bulk material creation.
  • Compliance: Ensure data handling aligns with company policies and local data privacy regulations

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Data Entry, Data Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain coordination.
  • Microsoft Excel Proficiency: Ability to handle large datasets using intermediate functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Validation.
  • Data Accuracy: Proven ability to input and manage complex data sets with a high degree of speed and precision.
  • Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments to clarify or correct data discrepancies.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify patterns in data and flag potential inconsistencies or duplications proactively.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize urgent data requests to meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
