MATERIAL PLANNER

Job Purpose

• Ensure the seamless flow of raw materials and components required for production while optimizing inventory levels, maintaining quality standards, and minimizing supply disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products
• Review blueprints and product specifications to accurately determine the number of materials needed.
• Documents overall material needs, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders.
• Adjust amounts for existing inventory and orders of conventional sizes.
• Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
• Ensuring materials meet specifications, and quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
• Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
• Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Planning Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of working experience in Material planning fields in the industry environment.
• Knowledge in the automotive industry – Production / Quality.
• Awareness of IATF16949, supply chain management.
• Proficient English.
