Mechanical Engineer (Senior Staff)

1. Preventative Maintenance:

• Conducting routine inspections and performing preventative maintenance tasks like lubrication, adjustments, and part replacements.

2. Troubleshooting and Repair:

• Identifying and resolving mechanical issues, performing repairs, and replacing damaged or faulty components.

3. Safety:

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

4. Record Keeping:

• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.

5. Collaboration:

• Working with cross-functional teams to optimize machinery performance and implement improvements.

6. Emergency Repairs:

• Addressing breakdowns and malfunctions promptly minimize downtime.

1. Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Additional qualifications in engineering design or project management are an advantage.

2. Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, steel, non-ferrous metals, and chemical plants, preferably in EPC, Oil & Gas, Power, Industrial, or Manufacturing projects.
• Experience in mechanical equipment design, engineering calculations, material selection, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with project execution, vendor coordination, and site engineering.
• Experience in industrial/construction projects is an advantage.

3. Certification:

• Relevant HSE training or safety certifications are preferred.
• Other industry-specific certifications are considered a plus.

4. Knowledge:

• Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and international standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
• Understanding engineering design processes, material specifications, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of engineering software and CAD tools.
• Familiarity with quality assurance, risk assessment, and project management principles.

5. Skills:

• Be able to read and write English, report skill directly with foreign manager.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other relevant engineering software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Good planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to interpret various drawings such as PFD, P&ID, and Sequence.
• Preference will be given to those with related qualifications
• Must not have any reason for disqualification from overseas business trips.
