Mechanical Engineer

Role 1: Structure Engineer

• Create shop drawings based on given information, specifications, calculations and incorporate all details of shop drawings.
• Ensure the drawings is in line with company standard.
• Understand the company welding and nesting details etc.
• Provide MTO based on drawing details.
• Maintain all drawing files, update and correct drawings as and when required.
• Explain drawings to Production or Construction teams and provide adjustment as necessary.
• Other ad hoc task by superior

Role 2: Piping Engineer

• Developing 2D and/or 3D piping and equipment layout design drawings and preparing piping isometrics and bill of materials (BOM).
• Ensuring compliance with international piping design codes, standards, and material specifications, as well as adhering to regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Coordinating and verifying piping interfaces with mechanical equipment, instruments, and steel structures, along with customer tie-ins.
• Read P&ID drawings, update as-building (e.g. redline)
• Maintain all drawing files, update drawings as needed, and make corrections to drawings as directed by the Section Head/ Leads
• Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary

Role 1: Structure Engineer

Requirement

• At least 2 years in structural detailing
• Experience in Solidworks will be added advantage
• Knowledge on Auto-Cad / Ms Office / Word is essential
• Able to prioritise work and meet schedule deadline.  

Role2: Piping Engineer

Requirement

• At least 2 years in  relevant industry
• Minimum degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant field of studies.
• Knowledge in ASME B16.5, B16.9, B16.11, B31.1, B31.3 material in ASME and ASTM
• Able to prioritise work and meet schedule deadline
