Job Description

1. Order Management & Communication:

  • Be the main point of contact for assigned international and domestic customers, handling all communication regarding product development, sampling, pricing, and order status.
  • Process customer purchase orders (POs) and issue internal Sales Orders (SOs) accurately and timely, ensuring all details are clearly communicated to relevant internal departments (Production Planning, R&D, QC).
  • Proactively provide customers with order status updates, shipment schedules, and address any potential delays or issues.

2. Product Development & Sampling:

  • Closely coordinate with the R&D/Technical team to manage the sampling process, ensuring samples meet customer specifications, cost targets, and factory production capabilities.
  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms with customers in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
  • Manage all necessary approval documents for new products and mass production.

3. Production Monitoring & Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor production progress daily/weekly to ensure orders are manufactured on schedule and according to the approved quality standards for aluminum furniture.
  • Coordinate with the QC team for in-line and final inspections, ensuring all quality requirements and compliance standards (e.g., social compliance, testing) are fulfilled before shipment.
  • Troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of production and quality issues promptly to prevent shipment delays.

4. Documentation & post-shipment:

  • Prepare and manage all shipping documents, working closely with the Logistics Agency to ensure smooth and timely shipment.
  • Follow up on payment collections and resolve any commercial or quality claims post-shipment.

Job Requirement

1. Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Foreign Trade, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Merchandiser in the Furniture manufacturing industry is mandatory. Experience with metal/aluminum furniture or outdoor furniture is a significant advantage.

2. Skills & Knowledge:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English is required for effective international communication (correspondence, negotiation).
  • Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency is a strong plus to communicate with suppliers or internal management.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

3. Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
