Be the main point of contact for assigned international and domestic customers, handling all communication regarding product development, sampling, pricing, and order status.
Process customer purchase orders (POs) and issue internal Sales Orders (SOs) accurately and timely, ensuring all details are clearly communicated to relevant internal departments (Production Planning, R&D, QC).
Proactively provide customers with order status updates, shipment schedules, and address any potential delays or issues.
2. Product Development & Sampling:
Closely coordinate with the R&D/Technical team to manage the sampling process, ensuring samples meet customer specifications, cost targets, and factory production capabilities.
Negotiate pricing and payment terms with customers in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Manage all necessary approval documents for new products and mass production.
3. Production Monitoring & Quality Assurance:
Monitor production progress daily/weekly to ensure orders are manufactured on schedule and according to the approved quality standards for aluminum furniture.
Coordinate with the QC team for in-line and final inspections, ensuring all quality requirements and compliance standards (e.g., social compliance, testing) are fulfilled before shipment.
Troubleshoot and facilitate the resolution of production and quality issues promptly to prevent shipment delays.
4. Documentation & post-shipment:
Prepare and manage all shipping documents, working closely with the Logistics Agency to ensure smooth and timely shipment.
Follow up on payment collections and resolve any commercial or quality claims post-shipment.
Job Requirement
1. Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Foreign Trade, Merchandising, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Merchandiser in the Furniture manufacturing industry is mandatory. Experience with metal/aluminum furniture or outdoor furniture is a significant advantage.
2. Skills & Knowledge:
Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English is required for effective international communication (correspondence, negotiation).
Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency is a strong plus to communicate with suppliers or internal management.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
