Metrology Technician On Plastic Parts

1. FUNCTION / CHỨC VỤ

· Metrology technician on plastic parts.

· The primary function of this position is to assist Siamp Ltd’s R&D Supervisor in Research and Development of sanitary product.

2. ROLE / ASSIGNMENT (VAI TRÒ / NHIỆM VỤ)

· Perform measurement of plastic, metal and rubbers components.

· Be able to read and understand 2D drawing.

· Working with metrology tool (Caliper, Micrometer, Video measurement, etc.…)

· Measure, fill-up data and take pictures on Excel Form report.

· Archiving of samples.

· Maintain equipment in good condition.

· Purpose solutions / equipment to improve the measurement quality and accuracy.

3. REQUIRED SKILLS

· Experienced mechanical Technician (2 years’ experience will be a plus) – Plastic and rubber knowledge are a plus.

· Knowledge in 3D CAD software as PTC CREO is a plus.

· English: read, written, spoken

· Mastery of measurements tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Video measurement, etc.…)

· Basic of the Office pack

· Be a self-starter with the willingness and ability to handle topics.

· Good organization/methodology

· Spirit of synthesis

· Team spirit

· Adaptability
