Job Summary
Responsible for developing new customers and growing revenue through logistics services (domestic/international freight, customs clearance, trucking…). You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, while coordinating with operations to ensure service quality and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and approach potential customers, consult and propose logistics solutions.
· Prepare quotations, service proposals, and contracts; negotiate commercial terms.
· Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets (revenue, GP, new accounts).
· Maintain relationships with existing customers and understand customer shipping patterns, proactively optimize the solution.
· Handle customer inquiries and coordinate issue resolution with operations (delays, claims, documentation).
· Work closely with Operations/CS to ensure smooth shipment execution and on-time documentation.
· Ensure proper handover of customer requirements (SOP, booking process, billing instructions).
· Monitor market rates, competitor offerings, and customer trends.
· Provide feedback to management on pricing strategy, service gaps, and new opportunities.
· Weekly/monthly performance reports follow the manager's requirements (calls/meetings, quotations, conversions, and revenue/GP).
· Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related fields.
· 1+ years of experience (Executive) in logistics sales/freight forwarding.
· Basic understanding of logistics services: Incoterms, freight modes, customs clearance, documentation.
· Familiarity with pricing structure: freight, local charges, trucking, customs, warehousing.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Problem-solving and customer-first mindset.
· Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
· Proficient in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
· English/Chinese communication is an advantage
