Ocean Import & Export Documentation Manager

* Internal Operations & Quality Control:

  Directly supervise, manage daily tasks, and oversee quality control for all sub-teams (Export and Import).

* Pricing & Carrier Coordination: 

- Strengthen coordination with and support for the Pricing team. Leveraging deep insights into ocean freight operations, provide the Pricing team with a robust data foundation to negotiate better rates with shipping lines, thereby optimizing costs across the department and fostering skill development. 

- Collaborate closely with regional/global networks to provide competitive pricing and strictly control the freight rates managed by regional/global networks, ensuring this data is shared with the Sales department.

* Cross-departmental Collaboration:

Collaborate with relevant departments to solve the trouble to enhance service quality, and expand business operations.

* Compliance & Process Improvement:

Inspect and monitor the department's compliance, while also proposing appropriate process improvements.

* Financial Control:

Control the section's costs and revenue.

* Reporting:

Provide timely updates and reports to the DGM/GM regarding any issues arising from the section's operations.

- Bachelor of International Business/ Foreign Trade/ Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Transportation/ Import & Export or or related fields.

- At least 5 years of experience in Ocean Freight Documentation / Procurement / Operations.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a Managerial or Supervisory role.
- Deep knowledge of import-export procedures, shipping lines, and maritime regulations.

- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work and coordinate effectively with regional/global networks.
- Excellent communication, cross-department collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset for cost control and pricing support.

- Agile and Responsible person.
- Be ready to handle the specific shipping schedules of the maritime logistics industry.

- Communication in English (written and oral)

- Ability to work under pressure, high responsibility.

- Computer Skill, Time Management Skills

- Relevant certificates in Logistics, FIATA, or Supply Chain are an advantage.
