Operations Director

We are seeking an Operations Director to oversee and optimize all operational aspects of our retail business. This role will be responsible for driving the success of supply & demand planning, warehouse & logistics operations, and retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations or/ and supply chain management, with a solid knowledge of legal matters. The candidate should be capable of representing the company in dealings with external stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and a consistently high standard of service for our customers.

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:

• Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end supplychain strategy, including demand forecasting, inventorymanagement, and logistics, to align with and support broaderbusiness objectives.
• Drive continuous optimization of the supply chain network to ensureefficiency, cost savings, and superior service levels whilemaintaining high standards of quality.
• Partner with senior leadership to set strategic supply chainpriorities, anticipate future challenges, and proactively implementsolutions that drive growth and operational excellence.

Retail Operations Strategy:

• Oversee and refine the operational strategy for retail locations toensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, andprofitability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and retail teams to elevate thein-store customer experience, optimize merchandising, and develop strategies to maximize sales performance and brand loyalty.
• Analyze retail performance metrics, identify areas for improvement,and design strategic initiatives to drive operational improvementsand revenue growth.

Legal and Compliance Matters:

• Serve as the company's primary representative in resolving legalmatters, ensuring the organization’s interests are protected andupheld in all legal and compliance issues.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with strategicstakeholders, including external legal teams, contractors, regulatorybodies, and partners, to address legal concerns and facilitatesmooth business operations.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure that all operations comply withrelevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards, safeguarding thecompany against potential risks

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across supplychain, logistics, and retail operations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuousimprovement, ensuring alignment with the organization’s corevalues and objectives.

Budget and Financial Management:

• Own the operational budget, strategically managing resources tooptimize efficiency, reduce costs, and achieve financial targetsacross all operations.
• Work closely with the finance team and senior leadership to ensurealignment between financial goals and operational execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Business/ Supply Chain Management/ Finance orrelated field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management,preferably within the retail or FMCG industries with experience in MNCs.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and/or retail operations.
• Proven experience serving as the company's representative in working withauthorities with strong knowledge of legal and financial regulations.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of managing anddeveloping high-performing, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive high-leveldecision-making, influence key stakeholders across internal teams andexternal partners.
• High Proficiency in English
