Operations Executive (Temp 12M)

Position Summary: The Operations Executive (Transshipment) is responsible for coordinate logistics, manage schedules and liaise with stakeholders to ensure efficient transshipment processes.

Responsibilities

• Recieve SOB from POL agents.
• Cross check SOB if possible to allow units discharge at VNVUT for further connecting plan, including scanning local regulation, terminal rule, special equipment handling.
• Compare with discharge list sending by MSC VN Import Dept & communicate quickly if any issue.
• Select suitable connection plan for ARO approval before proceeding.
• Nominate vessel connection details on system and inform all related parties after approval.
• Follow up connection plan & notify if any changes.
• Report to ARO regarding final space arrangement for recording.
• Ad-hoc vessel handling: Specially for SEA POL, request SOB from POL agent; Other country: auto find connecting solution to ship to destination.

Key Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum diploma qualified university, preferably in Logistics or Maritime or equivalent
• From 2 -3 years’ experience in shipping or forwarding industry
• At least basic knowledge of operations works of barges, ICDs, terminal
