About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Chinese Desk / Partnership Manager to lead community engagement and strategic partnership development within the Chinese-speaking community in Vietnam.

This role is responsible for building relationships with Chinese individuals, business owners, associations, chambers of commerce and community organizations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our network, strengthening partnerships, and driving business growth through community-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to engage and grow the Chinese-speaking community in Vietnam.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Chinese business associations, chambers of commerce, schools, universities, and community groups.
  • Identify and develop partnership opportunities that support business growth and market expansion.
  • Organize networking events, community activities, workshops, and business forums.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and Chinese-speaking partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and provide insights into trends, opportunities, and community needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design programs and campaigns tailored to the Chinese market segment.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential partners and strategic alliances.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

    Job Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, Communications, or a related field.
    • Fluent Chinese (Mandarin) 
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in partnership development, business development, community management, or account management.
    • Strong network within the Chinese community in Vietnam is highly preferred.
    • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
    • Strong understanding of Chinese culture, business practices, and community dynamics.
