PD Tech Associate Engineer

Develop, validate, and standardize all logo-printed shapes in the insole.

• Review and analyze technical requirements, drawings, master samples, and quality criteria from Dev define the test scope and execution plan.
• Evaluate feasibility, identify technical risks, and recommend solutions for each new printing technology, material, and print format.
• Specify and prepare the required tools, design files, molds, cutting dies, materials, and test conditions.
• Independently establish parameters, conduct trials, and optimize printing conditions to meet appearance, adhesion, color, and durability requirements.
• Analyze trial results, determine causes of deviations, and issue technical reports with recommendations and corrective actions.
• Validate samples, parameters, and acceptance standards before transfer to sample or mass production.
• Manage priorities and progress of logo printing projects, proactively flag schedule risks.

Troubleshoot technical issues and transfer processes to production.

• Lead root - cause analysis and resolution of complex printing defects during sample and production stages, coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct technical transfer to Production, Quality, and subcontractors,verify parameter compliance during pilot and initial production runs.
• Monitor and handle arising issues related to printing of sample orders and production.

Technical Support 

• Inspect and coordinate with suppliers to test complex printing formats.
• Implement a testing plan and evaluate printing techniques when receiving a new supplier appointment from the Customer.
• Evaluate the technical capability of new and existing suppliers; participate in audits, follow up corrective actions, and support process standardization.
• Guide Production, Quality, and subcontractors in correctly applying printing processes and technical standards.

Mentor technical knowledge and support team capability development.

• Develop and update troubleshooting guidelines, standard parameters, and lessons learned for common printing defects.
• Train and coach technicians on testing methods, quality evaluation, and printing troubleshooting.
• Create, update, and control technical documents, standards, parameters, and lessons learned, coach technicians and perform other assigned duties.

Experience

• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in engineering, product development, or printing technology in the footwear or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge or experience in printing technologies such as Sublimation, Screen Printing, Silicone Printing, Foil Printing, Digital Printing, and 3D–5D Printing.
