Planning Specialist (KCN Long Bình)

1.1. Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

·       Deploy and maintain material requirement plans based on production schedules, demand forecasts, BOMs, and inventory policies.

·       Calculating material needs of raw materials, semi-finished goods, packaging, and consumables.

·       Prepare material planning proposals to support purchasing and production activities.

1.2. Production & Supply Alignment

·       Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure material availability.

·       Support production planning considering seasonality, variable supply, and yield loss of agricultural materials.

·       Monitor production execution and adjust material plans in response to changes in demand or supply conditions.

1.3. Inventory & Stock Control

·       Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, shelf life, and expiry risks related to agricultural and perishable materials.

·       Ensure a balance between inventory optimization and uninterrupted production operations.

1.4. Forecasting & Data Analysis

·       Analyze historical material consumption, yield variance, and seasonal trends.

·       Support demand forecasting by providing material availability insights and supply constraints.

·       Prepare planning reports including material shortages, stock coverage, and inventory usage

·       Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields

·       2–5 years of experience in MRP / Production Planning, preferably in Food industry

·       Strong understanding of MRP concepts, BOMs, inventory control, lead times, and yield management.

·       Experience working with seasonal, variable-quality, or perishable raw materials.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities.
