Planning Supervisor

Production Scheduling:

• Develop and manage production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and material availability.
• Execute production schedules through system in the most cost effective basic in ensuring minimum down time, wastage with maximization of production lines utilization
• Follow up day by day production schedule and work closely with related departments to ensure that production timelines align with delivery deadlines.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to minimize delays.

Inventory Management:

• Track raw materials and finished goods inventory, notifying the team of shortages or overstock situations.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure raw materials, components, and finished goods are adequately stocked.
• Ensure that materials scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively in order to ensure materials supply meets production requirements with minimum stock levels, whilst optimizing costs.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials for production.
• Prepare reports on production schedules, and inventory status to management.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Liaise with various departments, including KAM, Demand Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing, Shipment to ensure alignment on demand and production plans.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between teams to address any issues or changes in plans.
• Provide support in resolving production or supply chain issues that impact delivery or inventory levels.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM) may be preferred.

Experience: Relevant experience in demand planning, production planning, or supply chain management is advantageous.
