Job Description

- Lead and coordinate with Production, QA/QC, and related departments to ensure full compliance with customer technical and quality requirements for plastic and injection-molded products.

- Act as the technical authority, providing professional consultation to Production, QC, and other departments on product quality, manufacturing processes, and technical issues.

- Provide technical standards, specifications, and problem-solving support to QA/QC, Sales, and Production teams to ensure products meet requirements and are shipped on schedule.

- Ensure all engineering and technical drawings are reviewed, controlled, and implemented in accordance with the company’s drawing control and change management procedures.

- Oversee and continuously improve productivity, manufacturing efficiency, and process stability, while minimizing defects, rework, and technical errors.

- Ensure all technical drawings and specifications are fully aligned with approved material standards, dimensional tolerances, and the company’s quality management system.

- Manage and directly supervise the sampling and trial production processes, both in-house and at suppliers, to ensure samples are completed on time and meet required specifications.

- Review and interpret customer protocols, specifications, and testing requirements to ensure correct implementation throughout product development and production.

- Lead product design review and process construction (DFM/Process Planning) to ensure products can successfully pass customer testing and validation requirements.

Job Requirement

-         Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or equivalent, preferably in Plastics Processing, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, Mold Design, or other relevant technical disciplines.

-         Minimum 7–10 years of working experience in product engineering, process engineering, technical management, and sample development within plastic manufacturing and injection molding companies.

-         Proven experience in leading technical/PME teams, including sample development, process optimization, and cross-functional coordination.

-         Strong understanding of plastic materials, injection molding processes, mold structure, tooling, and manufacturing techniques.

-         Experience working closely with Production, QA/QC, Sales, and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure product compliance with customer requirements.

-         Good command of English or Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken, for technical communication, documentation, and coordination with customers and suppliers.

+ Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, protocols, and standards in English or Chinese.

+ Proficiency in email communication, reports, and technical discussions with overseas stakeholders.

-         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

-         Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team management skills, capable of driving performance and continuous improvement.

-         Excellent cross-functional collaboration mindset and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

-         Proficient in CAD and engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and other relevant drawing/design tools.
