Job Description

1. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and manage the Pricing team, including workload allocation, performance evaluation, and coaching.

  • Develop team capabilities to ensure high productivity and performance discipline.

  • Standardize pricing processes and ensure data accuracy.

  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Booking, Customer Service, and Trade teams to ensure smooth operations.

2. Strategic Pricing Management

  • Develop and execute pricing strategies for the US and Canada markets.

  • Align regional pricing plans with HQ and Trade Managers.

  • Monitor market trends, freight rate movements, and competitor pricing to make proactive adjustments.

  • Advise management on pricing strategy, margin control, and market opportunities.

3. Carrier & Vendor Management

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and vendors.

  • Negotiate freight rates and space allocations to secure competitive advantages.

  • Escalate and resolve key carrier issues to support major accounts effectively.

4. Pricing Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate rate sheets and pricing data in the system.

  • Ensure correct cost calculations and contract pricing accuracy.

  • Optimize pricing workflows to improve turnaround time and efficiency.

  • Support internal departments in handling pricing-related matters.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports and analyze profitability, discount structures, win/loss ratios, and market share.

Job Requirement

  • Male/Female: under 50 years old
  • University graduate in majors such as Foreign Trade, International Economics, Maritime Transport, Supply Chain, Logistics
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the forwarding, sea freight, or logistics industry
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with shipping lines on Trans-Pacific routes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sea freight and pricing
  • Fluent in English
