BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:

Provide technical support for production issues in TEC assembly manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment for product development and process optimization. Monitor equipment performance, analyze manufacturing data, and implement process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. Support process transfer, new product introduction, quality improvement initiatives, and corrective/preventive actions to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing operations.

1) Manufacturing process control, improvement, and development

- Manage process qualification (QRB) activities for new processes, process changes, and new equipment to ensure timely Release to Production (RTP).

- Support process development, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and continuous improvement projects across manufacturing functions.

- Qualify new suppliers and materials in collaboration with Purchasing and Supplier Quality teams.

- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize manufacturing risks.

- Review and update manufacturing procedures, train operators on new processes, and conduct technical studies to support process optimization.

2) Manufacturing process support and quality control

- Ensure First Article Inspection (FAI) is completed before mass production and maintain process compliance.

- Support ISO, customer, and internal audit requirements while ensuring manufacturing processes remain under control.

- Utilize SPC and quality tools to analyze production data, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Participate in Failure Analysis (FA), MRB, 8D/CAR activities, and cross-functional problem-solving to improve product quality.

- Monitor process performance, establish control limits, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

3) Machine, equipment setup, and maintenance

- Configure and optimize manufacturing, measurement, and testing equipment to support production requirements.

- Troubleshoot equipment issues by working closely with equipment suppliers and machine manufacturers.

- Perform equipment verification, calibration, and preventive maintenance support to ensure reliable operation.

- Develop and improve tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment to increase productivity and reduce cycle time.

- Support spare parts management and maintenance improvements to minimize equipment downtime.

Job Requirement

Educational Background: Bachelor’s in one of following specialization:

- Chemical Engineering

- Materials Science or Materials Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering

- Electronic Engineering

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment related to process engineering, plating, wet chemical processing, or machine/process troubleshooting.

Special abilities:

- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, technical drawings, technical manuals, TDS, and process documentation.

- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvement skills.

- Knowledge of SPC, quality tools, ISO requirements, and statistical data analysis.

- Experience with process qualification, Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Failure Analysis (FA), and corrective/preventive actions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SPC software.

- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

- Ability to train operators and technicians, manage multiple priorities, and work independently.

- Good command of English.
