Job Description:

The Process Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining process quality control systems to ensure stable manufacturing performance and compliance with customer and internal quality requirements. The role focuses on measurement system management, process capability control, inspection effectiveness, and continuous quality improvement during mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Measurement System & Inspection Control

Own and manage all measurement systems at IPQC and OQC stations

Define inspection methods, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria in accordance with ERS, drawings, and customer specifications

Prepare, review, and release SOPs, WIs, FAI, MBO, and PBO measurement, readiness reports

Apply for project fixtures (coordinate with ME on fixture design drawings and confirm drawings)

Ensure measurement system capability through GRR studies and validation

Train QC and operators on correct measurement methods and inspection standards.

Review and update Quality Control Plans (QCP) during mass production

2.      Process Capability & SPC Control

Monitor and analyze process capability (CPK) during FAI and mass production

Establish and maintain SPC/WSPC control items for key quality characteristics

Track CPK trends, identify risks, and drive improvement actions with cross-functional teams

Escalate quality risks based on data analysis and trend monitoring

3.      Production Quality Issue Management

Lead or support investigation of production quality issues related to process or measurement

Perform root cause analysis and validate corrective and preventive actions

Review abnormal product disposition and conduct risk assessments

Ensure effective containment and permanent corrective actions are implemented

4.      Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Review and approve inspection data, including MBO, PDI, and PBI reports

Analyze defect data and inspection effectiveness

Optimize inspection strategies to improve detection efficiency and reduce risk

Drive continuous improvement activities related to process quality and inspection systems

Job Requirement

1.      Skills

Strong knowledge of SPC, CPK, GRR, PFMEA, Control Plan, QCP

Familiar with measurement systems and inspection processes

Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills

Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams

Good communication and documentation skills

Proficient in English (reading and technical communication)

Strong knowledge Tools/Jigs design (Cad…)

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Marco), Power BI and related tools. Dashboard Development.

Supported the QA team in maintaining ISO 9001 compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field)
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Process Quality / Manufacturing Quality Engineering

Experience in electronics, camera module, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing is preferred

  • Language: Proficiency in English (additional Chinese skills are a plus).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site position.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines and production schedules.
