Job Description

Procurement Operations & Supply Continuity

  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for assigned product categories to ensure supply continuity, operational efficiency, and business sustainability.
  • Receive, review, and execute Purchase Orders (POs) from the Planning team in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Closely coordinate with suppliers, forwarders, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery execution.
  • Proactively monitor shipment progress and manage supply risks, delays, and operational bottlenecks to minimize business impact and maintain service continuity.
  • Take ownership in handling, escalating, and resolving issues related to delivery, quality, documentation, and logistics operations.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities are executed in compliance with contractual agreements, company procedures, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to procurement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and supply chain responsiveness.

Supplier Management & Cost Optimization

  • Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, forwarders, and customs brokers based on capability, service quality, cost competitiveness, lead time, compliance, and operational responsiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with suppliers to improve collaboration, operational performance, and long-term business partnership.
  • Analyze quotations, conduct commercial evaluations, and recommend optimal sourcing solutions in terms of cost, quality, and service conditions.
  • Monitor market price trends, logistics costs, and sourcing opportunities to identify cost-saving initiatives and procurement optimization opportunities.
  • Drive supplier performance management through KPI monitoring, including OTIF (On-Time In-Full), lead time, responsiveness, and service quality.
  • Support inventory optimization and working capital efficiency through effective procurement planning and supplier coordination.

Import-Export & Compliance

  • Prepare and manage import-export documentation, customs declarations, and related procedures in compliance with current regulations and company standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supporting documentation for operational control, reporting, and audit purposes.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on import-export regulations and proactively identify compliance risks or operational impacts.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Planning, Commercial, Finance, and Logistics teams to optimize inventory management and purchasing plans.
  • Review purchasing forecasts and proactively recommend adjustments to improve supply efficiency and inventory performance.
  • Provide procurement analysis, operational reports, and performance updates to management as required.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives, process enhancement projects, and other assignments delegated by the Procurement Manager or Head of SCM.
  • Contribute to overall supply chain efficiency and support business growth through effective procurement and supplier management.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Import-Export, International Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in international procurement, sourcing, or import-export operations.
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, cosmetics, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international procurement processes, logistics operations, customs procedures, and supply chain coordination.
  • Proven experience in supplier management, commercial negotiation, and issue resolution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Good command of English communication, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and Data Visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and strong teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
