Procurement Specialist (Capex & MRO)

• Lead the operational procurement and responsible for domestic and oversea sourcing, purchasing and monitor delivery, payment.
• Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business saving utilizing negotiation and purchasing best practice tools and methods.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Working with forwarders to do customs clearance the imported goods applied for oversea suppliers.
• Work with domestic and oversea toller and follow up OEM orders & payment.
• Ensure procurement operations and workflows comply with regulatory safety and quality requirements.
• Implement and operate SAP system to manage and maintain high quality and accurate data records of purchases, shipments, supply of goods, etc.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with suppliers to leverage on the opportunities of cost reduction and service efficiency.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly procurement reports to key stakeholders.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to deliver value and reduce cost in the procurement process.
• Evaluate vendor performance to propose recommendations for future business dealings.
• Explore alternative sources for technical goods (MRO) and projects (Capex), Machine, Chemicals, Imported machinery and production lines, Manufactoring.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

*Work location: 217 Nguyen Van Thu Street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

*Working hours: 44 hours/week, Monday to Friday & Saturday mornings (flexible WFH).

• Bachelor's in related major: Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Trade, Import-Export, Logistics....
• Proven experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area required.
• Experience in machine importation would be preferred.
• Background with substantial professional experience (>5 years) in Purchasing/ Buyer/ Sourcing in Overseas suppliers, OEM services. Especially having experience in purchasing technical goods (MRO) and projects (Capex), Machine, Chemicals, Imported machinery and production lines, Manufactoring is an advantage.
• Preferred candidates have experience in customs clearance
• Good command of PC skills including advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP (SAP) would be preferred
• Good knowledge of machinery
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Good English skills.
• Others: Agreeing to go on business trips to the Binh Dương Factory, Ba Vi Factory, Hanoi office, or as per the task requirement.
