Product costing manager

Job Description:

·         Manage collection of production cost for material/ Labor/ Factory overhead & relevant administrative costs at the plant.

·         Continuously monitoring the effectiveness & accuracy of the cost methodology as well as implementation of improvements identified.

·         Responsible for B.O.M, Labor costs, wastage of material costs, hourly labor costs, Utilization and productivity of machineries & equipment, cost allocation of overhead.

·         Prepare the regular production costing reports with ability to drill down and analyze costing information at manufacturing process level.

·         Subject of expert in costing methodology with good communication skills to provide guidance to the stakeholders, including but not limited to plant head, procurement, production planning, product design, engineering department etc.

• Ensure costing standards, policies and & practices are shared, followed accurately from start to finish while following established timelines and calendars.
• Prepare & communicate additional analysis as required, Cost driver trend/ export cost model & Margin analysis.
• Contribute to the enhancement of systems and process to ensure costing requirements are met and to improve costing performance.

Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirement：

·         Degree in Accounting/ Finance or other relevant disciplines with minimum 8 years solid working experience in manufacturing costing.

·         The managerial role in the costing team is highly preferred. Less experienced will be considered to costing accountant.

• Strong knowledge of cost drivers and experience working with engineering, supply chain and sourcing partners.
• Highly collaborative with solid management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
• Exceptional analytical skills and ability to provide proactive solutions with limited direction and input.

·         Proficiency in English & able to communicate at all level.

·         Experience with multinational or sizable organization is an advantage.

·         Experience in ERP systems is a must.

·         Experience in Vietnam customs clearance is an advantage.

Experience in production process flow of solid wood and chipboard furniture is a plus.

·          Has strong affinity and plan execution ability.

·          Clear logical thinking, the ability to collect, organize, analyze data, and build a planning database, sensitive to numbers, and able to detect production data anomalies in a timely manner.

·          Strong coordination and communication skills, able to handle unexpected abnormal affairs in a timely and effective manner.

·          Has a strong sense of work responsibility and effectively controls waste in the production process.

·          Able to handle emergencies.
