Product Development Engineer

Product Development & Production Integration

• Support and co-own product development from design to bulk production
• Independently track and manage Development, Pilot run, and Sales samples

Manufacturing & Vendor Collaboration

• Communicate design requirements, materials, and manufacturing feasibility with suppliers
• Identify technical constraints, quality risks, and schedule impacts at the factory level

Project & Schedule Management

• Own assigned development timelines and deliverables
• Update progress through project management systems
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and follow up on action items
• Proactively escalate risks and suggest alternative solutions when needed

Manufacturing Processes & Materials

• Apply working knowledge of:

·         CNC, Forging, Stamping, Injection Molding, MIM, Webbing, Foaming, Assembly

• Demonstrate practical understanding of Aluminum, Steel, and Polymer materials
• Evaluate design decisions from manufacturing, quality, and cost perspectives

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related fields
• 5 years of experience in product development or manufacturing engineering
• Ability to independently manage samples and assigned development projects
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing tolerances
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (NX / Unigraphics preferred)
• Effective cross-functional and supplier communication skills
• Practical, solution-oriented problem-solving mindset
• Language Skills: Fluent working English (written and spoken)
