Drive effective merchandise planning and inventory management for the audio product portfolio (e.g., speakers, headphones, soundbars, accessories) by aligning supply with market demand.
This role ensures optimal SKU allocation, stock health, and purchasing plans across all sales channels (showroom, dealers, e-commerce), ultimately maximizing sell-out performance while minimizing inventory risks and costs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Merchandise Planning & Allocation
Develop and execute SKU-level allocation plans for audio products across: Showrooms, Dealers, distributors, Online channels
Balance stock distribution based on: Sales performance, Store potential, Regional demand
2. Inventory Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor end-to-end inventory health (warehouse + channel level): Identify low-stock, overstock, and slow-moving SKUs
Proactively recommend: Stock reallocation between locations, clearance / promotion plans for aging inventory, ensure optimal stock coverage (DOH) and turnover rate
3. Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning
Support and refine sales forecasts by SKU/category based on:
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to align forecasts with:
4. Purchasing & Supply Coordination
Propose purchasing plans for audio products based on: forecast demand, current inventory levels, lead time from suppliers
Track: purchase orders, production timelines (for imported or exclusive products), delivery schedules
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to avoid:

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field
2–4 years experience in: Merchandise planning / Demand planning / Supply chain. Preferably in consumer electronics or audio industry
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret: Sales data, inventory metrics
Proficiency in:
Excel (advanced)
Data tools / ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc. is a plus)
Power BI
Understanding of:
Retail operations (sell-in vs. sell-out)
Product lifecycle & seasonality
Mindset & Behavior
Detail-oriented and data-driven
Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving
Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations
Commercial mindset (not just supply planning, but impact on sales)
