Product Portfolio Supervisor

1. Market Research & Portfolio Support

a.       Collect and analyze crop protection needs by crop and region; propose suitable product solutions to the Product Portfolio Manager.

b.       Monitor market developments, competitor activities, prices and product trends in the assigned areas; prepare periodic market reports.

c.       Support market segmentation, product positioning and portfolio planning for the assigned product groups.

d.       Track sales performance and market share of the assigned product groups and propose actions to maintain and grow market share.

2. R&D & New Product Development

e.       Coordinate with R&D on field trials, demonstration plots and product evaluation; collect, consolidate and report trial results.

f.        Support the preparation and execution of new product launch plans, including launch materials and activities.

3. Labeling & Regulatory Compliance

g.       Prepare and check draft label content and design, ensuring compliance with the regulations of the Plant Protection Department before submission to the Product Portfolio Manager for approval.

h.       Maintain complete and up-to-date technical documentation and records for the assigned products.

4. Business Planning, Supply & Inventory Management

i.        Support the preparation of sales forecasts and import plans for the assigned products.

j.        Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing and product shelf life; alert the Product Portfolio Manager to shortage or overstock risks.

5. Pricing, Trade Marketing & Communication

k.       Implement and monitor promotion programs for dealers and farmers; evaluate program effectiveness after completion.

l.        Develop POSM, product leaflets and communication materials; coordinate with agencies and vendors on execution.

m.     Organize farmer meetings, field days and dealer conferences in coordination with the sales team.

6. Technical Support & Training

n.       Provide product technical information and crop solutions to the sales team, dealers and farmers.

o.       Conduct product training for the sales team and dealers.

p.       Receive and handle product feedback and complaints from the field, in coordination with QA and R&D.

7. Other Assignments

q.       Perform all related tasks as requested by the Product Portfolio Manager.

Understanding of the Regulations, Collective Labor Agreements & maintaining corporate confidentiality.

Knowledge & qualifications:

-          University graduate or higher, majoring in Plant Protection / Agriculture / Economics.

-          Good knowledge of crop protection products and agronomic techniques.

Skills:

-          Proficient in office computer applications; good English.

-          Teamwork; presentation and training skills; good communication skills.

-          Ability to collect and analyze market information.

Ability: Independent work, ability to work under pressure and to solve problems in a timely manner; willing to travel frequently to the field.

Experience:

-          At least 02 years of experience in the crop protection industry.

-          Experience working at multinational companies (MNC) is an advantage.

-          Good understanding of crop techniques and field practices, and good relationships with dealers and farmers are an advantage.
